Join the Dallas County Young Republicans for our regular monthly meeting, Monday, May 14.
In light of the upcoming primary, we will be hearing from the following candidates running for the Texas House of Representatives:
District 114: Daniel Boone, Bill Keffer & Jason Villalba
District 115: Lib Grimmett, Steve Nguyen, Andy Olivo, Bennett Ratliff (invited) & Matt Rinaldi.
This will be a great opportunity to meet our board, mingle with fellow young Republicans, and question the candidates who want to represent you in Austin!
Our monthly meeting will be from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. and will be held at our regular location – the Londoner Bar and Grill in uptown, located at 2909 Thomas Ave., Dallas, Texas 75204.

We will be hearing from special guest speaker Michael Quinn Sullivan (President and CEO of Empower Texans), who will be addressing and giving us an update on several health care policy related topics.
You will also have the opportunity to meet our board and mingle with fellow young conservatives and Republicans.

Join the Dallas YR’s on our Greenville Ave. St. Patrick’s Day parade float! Music, lots of fun, and quite possibly some green beer! We will have beads and other fun political themed items to throw into the crowd.
First: Join us to help build the float on Friday, March 16 at 6:30 P.M. We will be meeting to put together our float at the home of one of our members located at 5827 Oram Street (just off of Greenville Ave.)
Second: Show up between 9:00 – 9:30 A.M. the next morning, Saturday, March 17. You will need to meet us at the parade staging area in the Sam’s Club parking lot at 8282 Park Lane. There will be no parking in the Sam’s Club parking lot, your best bet is the Park Lane Dart Station. The parade will be happening rain or shine, so come on out and have some fun!
The parade officially starts at 11:00 A.M., but be sure to show up by 9:30 A.M. so that you can ride on the float! Also, be sure to bring sun-screen, water, a smile and be sure to RSVP on Facebook! We will also have green “Kiss Me – I’m Republican” shirts for sale for $5.
This is one of our few “members only” events, so make sure you have joined or renewed your membership prior to the 17th!

The Dallas YR’s are bringing you the opportunity to meet two rising Republican politicians:
First, save the date for the Dallas GOP’s Reagan Day Dinner – Sat. March 10th at the new Omni Hotel Dallas with Louisiana Governor and GOP rising start Bobby Jindal. The Dallas YR’s will be volunteering to assist the county party in making this event happen. Visit the DCRP website for more event details. If you are interested in volunteering, make sure your membership is up to date and email your interest to Melissa_Dyson at yahoo.com.
Second, join the Dallas County Young Republicans for our regular monthly meeting. You will have the opportunity to meet our board and mingle with fellow young conservatives and Republicans. We will be hearing from special guest speaker Mayor Tom Leppert. Mr. Leppert is a former Mayor of Dallas and businessman. This will be a unique opportunity to meet, hear from and pose questions to Mayor Leppert.
