Republican Election Judges Needed for Primary

by Dallas YR ~ February 17th, 2010. Filed under: Information.

Republican Election Judges and clerks are needed in the following areas of
town.
NOTE: You do not have to live in the area where you serve as a judge or
clerk.

Irving
Garland
Mesquite
Downtown Dallas
Richardson
Carrollton/Farmers Branch
Lakewood

The reason why this is important is that if we cannot find enough people to
run a poll, we have to consolidate polls. This inconveniences voters and
gets them upset and less likely to come back in November with a positive
feeling about the Republican party and our nominees. So please please
please forward this to anyone whom you think might help in any of these
areas.
To serve as an Election Judge, you must be a registered voter in Dallas
County. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until aprox. 7:00 p.m.
The Judge should be there all day or can be there to open and close, leaving
reliable clerks there in between.

New this year, High School Students may work as clerks and be paid, they
must have permission from
their school and parents and may work individually or in pairs.

Election Judges and clerks must attend training, (training is provided)

Election Judges and clerks will be paid $8.50 per hour. This could be a
great fundraiser for a Republican club.
