Beads and Build Event for St. Patty’s Day float.

by Mark Brown ~ March 10th, 2010. Filed under: Uncategorized.

*** Update ***

Thanks to the Dallas GOP, a lot of the float has been built.  Hooray Hooray!

If you want to come show you’re support for conservative causes, come join us in walking in the parade!  Just show up on Sat. morning at 8 am at the parade staging ground (Sam’s Club parking lot, at Park and Greenville).

We will have a few last minute things to do Sat. morning at 8 am to get the float finally ready (like attaching signs, etc.), so free hands will be helpful.

Recommend bringing beads – the more the better.
Recommend making signs with conservative messages.

Since the Dallas Young Republican Club won’t be buying pizza and softdrinks on Friday night, we’ve rededicated the funds to purchase drinks with a kick, on Sat. morning.  Welcome to BYOB, but remember no glass containers on the parade route.
If you think you might come, we’d appreciate an rsvp with our FaceBook event page.

*** End Update ***

Hello, my Young Republican friends. Come help us build a float for the St. Patty’s Day Parade.  If you show up *with beads* and help build / decorate the float, then you also get to march in the St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday morning. Details on the event:

Who: Dallas County Young Republicans and the Dallas County Republican Party

What: Help Build and Decorate a Float!

Come help us build a float for the St. Patty’s Day Parade.  If you show up *with beads* and help build / decorate the float, then you also get to march in the St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday morning.

When: Friday, March12, 5:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Where: 5839 Morningside Ave., Dallas, 75206  maps.google.com/maps This is JJ Koch’s house.  He’s running to be a judge at the county court level.

Why: People across our city are frustrated with big government spending and progressive liberalism.  The dems will have their own float for the parade.  Let’s show people there is a viable and practical alternative to liberalism. The float itself will sport campaign signs for our current election candidates.

How: Just buy some beads (Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Grocery Store Toy Aisles) and show up to help.  We’ll supply pizza and softdrinks.  For drinks with more kick, you’re welcome to byob.

RSVP for Head Count: It’s not necessary to RSVP, but if you think you might come, we’d appreciate an rsvp with our FaceBook event page.
