Who: Dallas County Young Republicans and the Conservative Hispanic Society

What: Community Outreach and Service event at Wynnewood Community Center.

Wynnewood serves inner-city, low-income children and families in South Dallas through an after-school program, food pantry, counseling services, GED/ESL classes, job readiness training, senior citizen activities, spiritual enrichment and much more.

When: Saturday, February 20th, 9:30-10am start and 2-2:30pm finish

Where: Carpool from Mockingbird DART Station, Worcola St north of Mockingbird Ln in Dallas at 9:30am or

Meet at Wynnewood, 2006 Didsbury Circle in Dallas at 10:00am

Why: Liberals and Democrats say we won’t and that we don’t care, but we know that Conservatives believe private non-profit organizations like Wynnewood are better equipped to provide programs that will give a long-term benefit to those in need than the bureaucracy of our federal government could provide.

How: With generous donations to pay for the supplies and lunch for us, we are going to paint two of Wynnewood’s community meeting rooms. Bring your favorite paint rollers or brushes- we will provide the rest! (Please wear paint appropriate clothing.)

For more information or if you would like to donate, please contact Chrissy Healey, Community Service Director for the Dallas County Young Republicans at chrissyhealey@yahoo.com or 214.505.5423
