A Message from our President - Chad Cohen
Welcome to Dallas County Young Republicans!
We are the largest, most active Young Republicans chapter in the State of Texas, and one of the largest Young Republicans chapters in the entire country. We are a group of young professionals, 18-40 years old, committed to advancing conservative policies and conservative principles here in Dallas County and across Texas. We provide an opportunity for young conservatives to get educated, get engaged, and get involved in politics. We also provide a platform for young conservatives to connect with like-minded people and build personal friendships and professional relationships. Whether you are a life-long native of Dallas or you’ve recently moved here, our mission is to empower you to make a difference in your community and have a great time doing it! A significant portion of our membership consists of recent transplants to Dallas County, and our goal is to be your entry point to getting plugged into Dallas County. If you are new to town, joining DYR is an excellent way to meet new people, learn about Texas politics, and make an impact in your new home.
With over 1,000 dues-paying members and attendance of 100-300 people at our monthly meetings, we are a dynamic, rapidly-growing group of young people committed to effecting real, conservative change in our community. We hold our meetings monthly. Anyone is welcome to attend - we encourage you to bring your friends as well! We believe that once you meet the members of DYR and see our programming, you’ll continue to come back every month. Over the past several years, we have had a broad range of speakers, including Tomi Lahren, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Congressman Lance Gooden, Congressman Van Taylor, Pastor Robert Jeffress, Mark Cuban, Lt. Col. Allen West, Sidney Powell, and many more. We also hold a number of social events throughout the year so that our members can get to know each other. While most of our events are open to everyone, we do hold members-only events throughout the year. Membership in Dallas County Young Republicans is $40 annually. Your financial support of DYR allows us to have great programming, fun social events, and continued growth. DYR membership dues provide 100% of the funding for DYR. We are a self-supporting organization of young conservatives, and we deeply appreciate your financial support.
